Hidden Embers

from A$225.00

At the start of 2020, right before the world turned upside down, my friends and I went camping at Black Rocks, down in Northern NSW. I love escaping with a tent, as it gives me an uninterrupted time to experiment with long exposures, time lapses and a whole range of fun camera techniques.

Hidden Embers was taken around a campfire as my mates discussed the meaning of life, combined with unusually personal bowel movement stories, as is normal for most campfire conversations. (Just being real with you). I lengthened the exposure to capture the embers movement as they ascended into the sky, then grabbed an empty glass to half cover the frame. It’s always fun creating abstract representations of moments in time. Especially when they turn into fun framed art prints you can share with others.
