Dolomites 1.0
The Italian Dolomites were a place I always dreamed of going. The rugged landscape and sheer scale seemed so intriguing. My German friend agreed, so we hired a car and road tripped to Italy to make it happen.
During the hike, I couldn't help but turn around to keep an eye on the views. Dolomites 1.0 is what greeted me. Distant mountains dotted with snow and covered in cloud, plus the ridgeline of trees added incredible depth to the landscape. It was unreal.
Then on the way home we had a car crash in the rain and got yelled at by an angry Italian truck driver. A favourite memory to look back on. One that will look great enlarged on your wall.
